So, for some reason I got to thinking about things about myself. There seems to be a small trend (hopefully it doesn't get bigger) of being forgotten. It's happened since I was little. Being forgotten at a store, in the grocery line, later in high school by teachers. The Drama teacher forgot I was on the list to be inducted to our thespian troupe on the day of the "ceremony" in front of everyone. Now at work, small things like going to lunch and bigger things like being recognized for the work I've done. I just seem to slip through the cracks somehow. Anyway, I was just thinking about it, seems odd to me. I mean I don't attract attention, I pretty much keep to myself, a loner I'd say so what else would happen. It's weird to think about yourself being forgotten. I don't know why I chose to write about this particular subject but anyway, there you have it.
Do you guys care that this journal has kinda morphed into a more "real life" journal than the "sex journal" it used to be? I feel more myself here. My other journal feels like a fake, like a place I write stuff for other people. Here I just write what I want, and people comment if the want or ignore it if they want, but at least its me. So, let me know how you feel about the stuff that's not "sexual" being here.

Grab the nearest book....
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 56.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next seven sentences in your journal along with these instructions.
5. Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the CLOSEST.
6. Tag five other people to do the same
"Dress, jewels up to a point, any night-club you like, know anybody you want to know, live the pace...travel and be somebody wherever you go...Darn it, every sort of good time."
He spoke it almost in a brilliancy of triumph, and Connie looked at him as if dazzled, and really feeling nothing at all. Hardly even the surface of her mind was tickled at the glowing prospects he offered her. Hardly even her most outside self responded, that at any other time would have been thrilled. She just got no feeling from it all, she couldn't "go off." She just sat and stared and looked dazzled, and felt nothing, only somewhere she smelt the extraordinary unpleasant smell of the bitch-goddess.
Mick sat on tenderhooks, leaning forward in his chair, glaring at her almost hysterically: and whether he was more anxious out of vanity for her to say Yes! or whether he was more panic=stricken for fear she should say Yes - who can tell?
Anyone guess the book?

| Which character from Alice in Wonderland Are You? Caterpillar The Caterpillar is very laid-back and calm. And likes to smoke hookahs. How doth the little crocodile improve his shining tail. And pour the waters of the Nile, on every golden scale. How cheerfully he seems to grin, how neatly spreads his claws. And welcomes little fishes in, with gently smiling jaws! |

When I get back and actually have time to write an entry my computer at home goes on the fritz. Murphy's Law.
So, I'm at work.
I haven't been doing much of anything lately except reading and chilling with the fam. I like it. Last night I made dinner for us. Let's start by saying, I am not a cook. I can make the basics, spaghetti, rice, grilled cheese, soup...easy and not-so-healthy stuff. I didn't have work yesterday though (darn you 20 hours!) so I thought I'd go to the store and buy stuff for dinner. I made stir-fry (yellow squash, zucchini, celery, red pepper, green pepper, mushrooms and chicken) with white rice. I was quite proud of myself, and it was tasty =)
Um...what else can I say...
...Oh, I've been thinking...I hate how my thoughts about relationships are unrealistic, to a point. Thanks Disney.

Hi all (who still remember who I am)
I'm done with camp, yay! However I'm decompressing and de-stressing with a few friends in Orlando so I'm still not really able to catch up with anything but I wanted to write a short hello to let people know I'll be back soon. I basically miss everyone from lj, I feel like I've gotten so vanilla and boring in my absence from fun characters like you guys. Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well...I'll read more and write more soon! Look out world!!

I've been pretty sick since Thursday. I just went to the doctor this morning. I have laryngitis and an ear infection. I'm contagious.
Yay for walking around infecting people for 6 days. That's completely a joke, I really hope I didn't make too many people sick :(
How's all of you?
